School Reviews By Students: Flashback in Time

Below is on of the school reviews by students at Ngee Ann Polytechnic studying in Multimedia & Animation. In these school reviews, they will be writing about their thoughts and feelings during the 3 years of their polytechnic journey.

The last 3 years at Ngee Ann Polytechnic had been an extraordinary experience that I have never once regretted. I have learnt many new things, gathered new experiences and most importantly I have met good people that have made an impact in my life. Hence, in this school review article, I am going to be sharing about my memories in school.

Lecturers who are passionate in their work and are always patient and willing to help us. Additionally, they are like friends whom we can joke around with as well. Other than that, the friends whom I have met and worked together with, are friends that I have plan to keep in my life for a long long time.

Lastly, not forgetting the cute aunties and uncles who have helped keep our school clean. Every morning, they would sure be there to greet me with a wide big smile. Back in 2014, when I was picking my choices for polytechnic, I was really confused. Reason being that I was not certain of what I wanted to study. All I knew was that I wanted to pursue arts. Whilst flipping through the JAE booklet, I stumbled upon Multimedia and Animation. This course was apparently an art course. Hence, without much thought, I chose it. Only upon entering did I realise I had to do programming as well. However, later on, I found out that it was actually a good thing. My options were not as specialised as I thought and I could gain a new skill.

To Summarize

The one good privilege I had being a Multimedia and Animation student was that I never really had to travel far for classes. Our lessons were all within the same area. This in turn gave us more time to complete our homework, instead of rushing through it at night.

Another plus point was the course having an almost fixed timetable. Our classes usually starts at 9am and would end at either 1pm or 6pm. This have made it much easier for me to plan my lessons or activities outside of school.

Now that my graduation is near, I am relieved that the last 3 years of my life have been amazing. And, I did not make the wrong choice.

“I am able to tell myself that the last 3 years of my life have been amazing”
